Temp Work in Poland and Germany
Increasing numbers of companies in Poland are opting for temporary employment agencies to meet staffing demands, suggesting shifting preferences regarding short-term job arrangements. The increase also suggests the need for more government and industry action to tackle the problem of recruitment services fraud, which reportedly affects thousands of Polish workers.
The owner of CIS Group Manpower, intérim en Pologne, denied any wrongdoing and said his agency complies with Polish law. He said his company does not charge money to process migrants’ visas and find them a job, but does charge nonrefundable “consultancy fees” to support workers with procedures such as obtaining an ID card or finding housing. He said his agency has been licensed in Poland since 2020 and that it is working with the Labour Inspectorate to address the problem.
Temporary workers in Germany
The demand for Polish craftsmen has soared because of a shortage of skilled workers on the German labour market. Many companies rely on Polish agencies for tradespeople such as roofers, painters, and welders, as well as for other technical positions. The agencies can source workers from a pool of talent that is ready to move to Germany and start work immediately. This can save companies time and money, and ensure that they have enough personnel to carry out the work needed in the meantime. They can also fill in for maternity leave and cover sickness absences. Recruiting Polish craftsmen is not only an effective way to meet your needs, but it can also be a cost-effective solution.
